Why Shortifi
Built for sharing, not managing.
Most link tools want you to sign up, build a workspace, and learn a dashboard. Shortifi does the one job you came for — then gets out of the way.
It is designed thumb-first for phones: large targets, native share sheets, and QR codes that download cleanly on iOS and Android.
-
No account. Ever.
No email, password, or profile. Paste a URL and leave with a link.
-
QR codes included
Download a PNG, copy the image, or share it straight to another app.
-
Self-cleaning links
Every link expires after 30 days, so shared URLs do not live forever.
-
Mobile-first by default
Big tap targets, fast loading, and share options that fit your phone.

URL shortener FAQ
How long does a Shortifi link last?
Every short link stays live for 30 days from the moment you create it. After that it expires automatically and visitors see a friendly “link expired” page. There is no account or dashboard to clean up.
Do I need an account to shorten a URL?
No. Paste your URL, tap Shorten, and you are done. Shortifi never asks for an email, password, or personal profile.
Does Shortifi make QR codes for free?
Yes. Every short link gets a high-resolution QR code you can download as a PNG, copy as an image, or send through your phone’s native share sheet on iOS and Android.
Can I choose my own short code?
Not yet. Shortifi generates a random, easy-to-read code for every link. Custom aliases are on the roadmap.
What happens to my data?
We store the destination URL, the short code, timestamps, and an aggregate click count. We do not require an account and we do not build personal profiles. Links and their click counts are deleted when they expire. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Why can’t I shorten a local or private URL?
Shortifi only supports public http:// and https:// links. Local addresses and private network ranges are blocked so the service cannot be used to peek inside internal networks.
Is Shortifi really free?
Yes. Ads help cover hosting and keep the tool free for everyone. There are no paid tiers, no trials, and no hidden fees for normal use.
Can I delete a link before it expires?
Because there is no account, there is no delete button. If a link contains illegal or abusive content, contact us and we will remove it.
Make your next link behave.
Short, scannable, and gone in 30 days. That is the whole deal — and it is free.
